SACRED BELLY BLESSING
Plan a lovely private gathering for yourself (or your pregnant bestie) with me so she can feel held and supported in her journey into motherhood. The idea is that we focus on the mother, and not baby, like you would in a baby shower.
To honour this special time held either in my home studio (Bristol), your own home (5 miles from BS9) or online with those around you by planning some lovely activities such as yoga, food sharing, singing/chanting, massage amongst other ideas you may have, to lift and boost her energy and be looked after by myself. A lovely thing to offer especially in the 3rd trimester.
Please arrange an initial consultation to meet/make plans and tailor make the ceremony for you and your guests.
Prices start from £225 (online from £185) for 2/3 hours. Please get in touch for more information.
Ideas you may like to choose from:
Yoga practices to relax and nourish your bodies
Giving massage to mama and/or partnering up)
Choose Oracle cards/set intentions to open the space.
Bring something special for mama to place on an alter (a table/tray with gifts on) to help her to remember her support network as she goes into labour. A keepsake bag will be given to her with everything offered on the day. Candles, photos, crystals, feathers, shells, oils are a few lovely ideas)
Foot bath/soak
Bring words to read out, photos, drawings, art
Singing together/chanting mantras
Making your own yoni keyrings (everything supplied)
Writing a letter to mama to be sent after her birth. I will keep them and send them off monthly during her post partum period.
Candles & incense are given out to everyone so they can be lit, intentions and love sent to mama as labour begins.
Cord Joining. This is a simple way to connect everyone by passing some cord around the circle and is tied loosely around everyone’s wrists. Setting your intention into the bracelet, each woman wears the bracelet until baby is born. A lovely reminder that you are all connected by love.
Food may be brought and held in my freezer (or mamas) so it can be given to her in those early days. As you are preparing the food, make it with love, fill it with nourishment so it helps her heal in those early weeks. A simple intention is all that’s needed here as the food is prepared.
Belly painting (extra costs from a henna tattoo artist, booked separately)
Food can also be brought/organised to be shared
Teas/snacks provided
